| notes | One of two metal ringed birds seen on the beach at Aride Island, Seychelles on 19.02.2022. Both birds were photographed from multiple angles to obtain ring numbers, which are partially visible, but perhaps only 95% certain. Both rings were 'Paris'. GE - 34041 GE - 34056 Additional photos are available to confirm ring numbers if required. Information on where and at what stage these birds were ringed would be very much appreciated. Turnstones are present annually throughout Seychelles and it would be interesting to know the origin of these birds. |
